1978
The Ava Art Guild was founded in 1978 by a small group of men and women who wanted to develop a network of artists and nourish community appreciation of arts.
1982
The guild volunteers engaged in various fundraisers and purchased our permanent gallery and meeting space in 1982. The gallery is in its original location at 303 E. Washington Ave, Ava, Missouri.
Today
The Guild relies on the generosity of the community to become active members and ‘Friends of the Gallery’ by way of donations and sponsorships. We are a friendly group and invite you to participate in any of our events, workshops, children’s art programs, and show contests.
